“Peggio di così non si può!” Dicevamo a giugno e invece alla ripresa dell’anno scolastico la realtà è riuscita a sconfessare la fantasia.
In questi giorni nelle scuole siamo tutte occupate ad organizzare l’attività didattica, ma di didattica se ne parla davvero poco perché la maggior parte del tempo è impegnata a parlare di come incastrare nell’orario le innumerevoli figure che ruoteranno sulle classi. Quando assegneranno le ore dell’educatrice? Mi mancano 7 ore di sostegno come faccio col bambino disabile? Se tu vieni in classe mia a fare scienze, si liberano 3 hours and the other 3 that I have available I can go in the second Italian to do so we can complete the zone even in the other class ...
no longer know what the priorities: support, recovery, replacement? The coexistence of religion has remained only in those classes where there are children who have opted for the alternative choice and for children in serious difficulties for those who need individualized paths? For them, the teacher will do what he can, by organizing educational activities in order to simultaneously activate different interventions and different classes in increasingly diverse and numerous.
No more projects / workshops there is no longer the presence and there are no human and economic resources, perhaps we can revive the draft stage, but the expert and costs would be borne by families, as is done in such a moment to ask for a contribution? So better not!
Someone asks if we can organize excursions, but how do you take out 25 children with one teacher? We can not rely on the support staff, if something happens is only the responsibility of teachers, we may request the intervention of a teacher's support, but other times it is right to steal to children with disabilities? And then: nothing out!
At this point, given the commitment and the difficulties that lie ahead for this year, what sense does it engage in commissions? Our energy is going right on children and classrooms, but if the commissions do not work (library, spaces, coordination, management, relations with the territory ..) as you do to run the school? We will limit ourselves to the bare minimum, just what is needed to preserve the existing and we'll see how it goes.
The climate is not the best, we start with little enthusiasm, many doubts and the feeling that maybe this is just the beginning!
