Oggi la figlia Adriana, presidente di Riferimenti, e tutta Reggio Calabria lo ricorda, con l'apertura della diciottesima edizione della Gerbera Gialla, fiore simbolo dell'antimafia, che nel ricordo di quella morte è stato dedicato alle vittime della criminalità organized.
