We welcome a new site dedicated to the history of our country Monasterace medieval , which deals with precisely this in our country's "dark" period.
Dark not because of what is commonly said, namely the Middle Ages as a period of decadence and obscurantism, interpretation now devoid of any foundation, but simply because, unfortunately, little dark and difficult to interpret the tracks are now archaeological and monumental, and especially written documentation.
